POSTCARDS FROM THE CHILDREN OF THE CALDERA

CONDITIONS

The artist must be 13 years or younger. Two postcards per applicant are to be entered. All postcards plus this entry form must be delivered to the Uki Post Office by Thursday 24 November. The exhibition runs Thursday 8 December to Wednesday 18 January. Postcards can be sold for $8. Please note if there isn’t enough room to show all entries, we will have to make a selection.

The subject: The postcards must show life in the Caldera either real or imaginary. For example, plants, birds and animals that live in the Caldera, a village, a river, houses, farms, farm animals, people, a favourite place, mythological bests or spirits. The setting can be daytime or nighttime.

Materials: All postcards must be 21 x 15 cm (A5). The postcards will be displayed using blue tack so please use card that is thick enough not to wrinkle (minimum of 300 gsm). Paint, coloured pencils, fine marker pen and coloured paper for collage can be used but nothing that smudges.

Details: Title of artwork, name of artist and age must be written on the back of each postcard.
